I am penciled in to go to Yosemite for the week with the family of July 9th thru the 16th 2004.

I would like to do some herping and take lots of pics. You know I will ! lol!!!
Can anyone fill me in on any areas to view Rubber Boas or any areas that are know for herps. Besides the whole park, I know they are everywhere. lol!
I do know the Cal.laws. I want to take pics take the kids out. I also plan on doing some nightime road crusing.

I know I myself am pretty good at locating reptiles but any input would be greatly apreciated if you frequent this magnificent place.

Tony definitely knows the California Reptile and Amphibian laws. He also is very conscious of the environment and habitat. He is a great field herper who doesn't go around ripping things apart. He leaves everything as it is so don't hesitate to fill Tony in on any spots that he might be able to go.

Let me know when you come down next and we will do Whitewater and it's general area before Yosemite in July.
If you get time maybe one of the days I am in Yosemite you can come up and we can take a look see around the area.

We'll definitey make whitewater before July. Which would be a better weekend for you. The one after this or 2 weeks from this weekend? I may try and make it to Yosemite when you are there. It's only about 4 hours from me.
