I have two fire-bellies that have been mating. I'm worried that the eggs/tadpoles may get sucked up inside the filter (in-tank). Is that a legitimate concern? Should I turn the filter off?
Thanks!

What do the eggs look like? Like normal frog eggs?

hi kane, i don't know much about eggs, but i had a dwarf frog get sucked into a filter once, and the woman at my local pet store gave me this idea: cut an x in a small filter sponge and push it up over the intake of the filter. it works great for me, and as a plus it gives you an extra layer of mechanical filtration. hope this helps, michele
