Give her a good soak and use tape to remove the eyecap if it's still present after the soak.
How's it done with tape? I've not heard that one but am interested in learning it. Do you just put tape over the eye and remove it? Couldn't that damage the eyecap?

It works great as long as you are sure there is an eyecap stuck on there. Just wrap it around your finger, press and pull, it should come off easily. I've used it for mambas, and it worked great, but for nonvenomous & MOST venomous I prefer to use very fine pointed tweezers that are curved at the tip, just be careful & sure there is one on there first. This is not a serious problem, and if you provide proper humidity levels it should come off with the next shed.
