hey all
helga eats but i do not think she is eating enough. is there anything that uros just absolutely love and cannot resist? i really wish she would eat more but i do not know how to make her eat more. she is definitely warm enough and i am still waiting on her cage to arrive so she does not have enough space yet. could it just be that she is not running around enough? i know every uro is different but i just did not know if anyone noticed a pattern of something they absolutely loved.

It would be a little easier to tell you what you might have missed if you tell us what you've tried. My Uro (Zilla) never turns down a dandilion (though I use them sparingly). Mainly whenever I put Kale and other greens in her salad they are always the first to go. My 2 cents.

well, basically i have given her mustard greens, collard greens, bird seed and a frozen veggie mix of green beens, carrots, corn, peas and lima beans.

My egtptian female will dance for one, hehhee ! I have to say thats the FAVORITE!

She Also loves her dried lentils and split peas right out of bag.

I leave a shallow saucer of them in there. Have for almost 5 years. She always looks for them when empty. They sit and chew them, and ya hear them snapping.

Pick some dandelion flowers, make sure they have not been treated and offer her some.

I also have rose hedge bushes in yard, and pick small red roses, they eat the petals. And big yellow daylillies, and Hibisus flowers too (not treated)

Mine also just discovered bird seed. They really like mealworms, as well.

Fresh String Beans & Sugar Snap Peas

Archimedes LOVES these, though really who doesn't. He also likes fresh zuccini, apples, and an occasional bit of peach.
