Coppersafe OK for ADFs??

GaryNH May 24, 2004 06:09 PM

My friend has what appears to be Planaria and the pet store recommended Coppersafe. She has a couple of Tetras and one ADF.

Thanks, Gary

You would get a much better response in the frog and toad forum because this mostly specifies with poison dart frogs. I have never kept these and am unsure of the product. Sorry

Actually thats probbaly a fish foroum question. but i have used coppersafe in my aquarium (but i dont have an ADF in there) to cure fish diseases like ick, and velvet. its suposidly toxic to inverts, so it should kill the planeria (are you sure its planria??) but it might kill the frog to! IMO, it would be better to find a natural solution to the peoblem, like a fish or maybe a cleaner shrimp that will eat the planeria. best of luck!
