I would like to know how to diagnose tail rot, what are the tell tell signs? is it something that happens over night or can we see it slowly developing?
any information would be most welcomed, maybe a photo too!

It slowly eats away the spikes on the tail whorls. If I am not right someone please jump in here. there is a lot of grat info at the uromastyx home page listed under >care sheets/faq's/features at the top of this page.
as I keep them as a group (10 heads)they seem to urinate on each other, as to define rank, this makes a wet spot at the tail base. have you ever seen this?
