HELP!! Lost snake : (

devilish1182 May 24, 2004 09:32 PM

Its not my burm thats lost but one of my red tails, I know I should post in the boa forum but the boa forums has just turned into a big picture gallery and the advice I get from this forum is much better. My snake has been missing since late friday night and I can't find him anywhere. He is kept in an enclosure in my garage and I have tore the garage apart a few times a day looking for him. There is a whole in the wall and a small gap by the garage door which would give him access to underneath the house and outside, which I'm hoping so bad he didn't go. I've set out a water bowl and I have some rats in the garage but nothing is working he is still missing. Do yall know anymore tricks to finding a lost snake? Is baby powder in anyway harmful to snakes, I was thinking about sprinkling some throughout the garage to maybe he a trail he might leave. He was the very first snake I've ever had and I'll be completely devastated if I don't find him so any advice at all would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Katy

He is more than likely under the house and just chilling in the dark and cool spot. There should be an access panel somewhere so you can go check it out. I would bet money that that is where she is. Todd

I've tried everything i can think of and still can't find him, and I don't see a way to get underneath my house to look. I don't know where the access panel is.
