does collared lizard shed and at what interval?
collareds definitely shed. when they are little they do it alot because they are growing alot. i read once that boys shed alot in the early years and not so much later in life and that girls peel evenly through out their whole lives. i guess that is true. it takes my two girls no time at all to peel, like two days max but it always takes walter several days. i always lightly dampen the sand in one area where they sleep with water and they always burrow in it, especially when they are getting ready to peel. you have to keep their micro-climates in mind.

Mine are 3 weeks old, Captive breed.
I keep them on paper towel for now, should I put a low profile
bowl with damp paper towel ?
when they shed.. I only saw leopard gecko shedding, they turn
grey/white and eat their shed..
i don't know about the paper towels and leaving them damp. i do not have any experience with babies. i think if you have water in their cage, which i think i saw in your picture, then they should be ok. with my lizards, right before they peel their skin becomes really dull and dry feeling. normally my lizards have soft skin and it just feels different before they peel. i guess it is sort of white looking. i guess it reminds me of my skin when i peel after getting sunburnt. i have never seen my lizards eat their skin. i think in the collared lizard photo gallery there are some pics on there of peeling lizards. i know eve posted some a couple weeks ago.
