looks like a mud turtle to me, Kinosternon sp., I am not positive though. Where are ya located?

I am positive it is a mud turtle. Not sure which kind. You need to get the turtle to some dirt fast, she has more eggs. 1 egg is unusual. Are you going to incubate the egg(s)?
The specimen is a Florida musk turtle (Kinosternon subrubrum steindachneri). The "egg" may have been an unfertilized ova, which female turtles are known to drop.

Hello:
It looks like a very strangely colored 3-Lined Mud Turtle to me. The light color of the shell is obscuring the three distinct stripes that appear on the carapace of this species. The shape of the shell is exactly that of K. bauri and they are indeed common where you say this animal was found.
It's a very nice specimen.
