I have kept one species of Stenophis. The speciecies advertised...Is it bright yellow with black bands? If so mine lived for about two months on a diet of anoles (they also eat frogs) before both died. I have seen other's post about these and they all say pretty much the same thing...A VERY DELICATE SPECIES...HARD TO KEEP ALIVE. I recommend setting them up like you would a frog.

Hi,

"According to Ivan Ineich (From national muséum of natural history of Paris), this Stenophis eat frogs (no bird). But it's possible that this snake has a very specialised feeding (perhaps a few species of frogs).
I tried to feed them with Heterixalus alboguttatus (malagasy frog). But no feeding.
I think it will be difficult to maintain this species in captivity. Some snakes are not adapted to the captivity, perhaps Stenophis is one of them. Rémi"

That is the one I had. Like I said, it did eat small lizards (frogs were not available to me at the time).
