Rubbermaid enclosures

ball_boi Jun 17, 2003 08:00 PM

Hey everone. I was just wondering does anyone keep their collection in rubbermaids? I am sick of the working to keep humidity in my aquariums so they have to go and other caging i.e. vision is too expensive for me right now. I was just wondering how i would setup the rubbermaid. If anyone could provide me with some pics or advice i would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!

Trey

I use em. I took two shelves (wood)& ran 3" heat tape on the back of the shelf hooked up to a dimmer switch to control the temp. I use a small wood burner to make air holes in the tubs and then just set em on the shelves.I also use a thermometer with a prob to keep an eye on the temps. So I just have to set my dimmer switch until I get the desired temp
When bying em ALWAYS check the lids to make sure the close good. Rubbermaid even makes em now with locks on the lids.Hope this helps. Dave@ East TN Reptiles
