can dragons be bred year round?
It varies from dragon to dragon. But, some of mine laid 4 clutches and they laid every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks apart. If you mean by breeding year round that they can be bred at anytime during the year then yes they can. Once a female has been bred then they will usually lay their clutches right after another in the intervals already stated and then she will be through for the year. However, there are people on this forum whose dragons have retained sperm and laid several months later.

reason i was asking is i got an orange glow female that i believe has eggs. she has not been bred, i have no male. If i got a male say mid july, would i still be able to get any offspring out of her..assuming they would mate..
If she is gavid now most likely they are infertile eggs. However, it is best to prepare an egg laying box for her to lay them to prevent her becoming egg bound.
Once you do get a male there is a good chance they will mate and she will have fertile eggs.
