i have a psir of 100 % het albino bal pythons but am not up on the albino thing so my question is what will breeding the two togather get me? and what do i need to do to get albinos thanks for any answers to this trivial question. scott

You would get 1 albino and 3 66% het albino. Those are just stats though. The three 66%ers would look normal. 2 should be het and 1 should be normal. I use the term should be loosely. Did that make sense?

You probably understood the other response well enough that the following is not necessary, however I feel that it's important enough to state explicitly.... the ODDS are 1 in 4 that any hatchling produced will be an albino. However, the odds are also 1 in 4 that you can flip a quarter twice and get heads both times... OF COURSE this doesn't mean that you can't get heads 5 times in a row or TAILS 5 times in a row.... LIKEWISE, your female may produce a large healthy clutch WITH NO ALBINOS.... alternatively, you could get 3 or 4 albinos from a single clutch.... don't expect these odds to apply to a single clutch or otherwise relatively small number of hatchlings (it's always a surprise)
