My first litter...........but look.........

look at the arrows thoses are 2 babie mice i put them in there as fuzzies when the rats pups had hair on them but isnt the weird that the mother rat is taking care of the mice well i plan to move them ut in a week or so so i can breed them for my yearling ball ..

May want to keep a close eye on the mother rat just in case, she may attempt to eventually cannabilize the mice.

Also it looks like you are housing your rodents on cedar bedding. May want to switch off of that to carefresh or aspen as cedar it is toxic to both rodents and reptiles. The volatile oils from the cedar is known to cause respiratory and lower birth rates/health defects on rodents, and it causes respiratory problems and possible liver damage in reptiles. Cedar oil from bedding was responsible for the death of our leucistic pine snake... the oils damaged the lining of the stomach causing regurgiation and which eventually lead to ulcers and more regurging to the point that the snake could not keep food down at all and died from the stress of it all.
