got new baby blizzard today

fadetolemons May 25, 2004 11:10 AM

He came in today, the one that was replacing the one with the birth defect i got a week ago. He looks great!!! He is really healthy, great color and really active, but still docile. I love him! He ate like 7 or 8 crickets the minute i put him in the tank with the baby albino. Should i be watching out for any tension between them or will they be fine since they are babies? The blizzard is a little bigger than the albino, and it looked as if the albino may have been a little scared of him, but i could be wrong? Any thoughts?

well yeah i mean i would too, i just haven't seen a threat, the albino might have just looked tired, i'm not sure. If i ever saw one of them nip at the other or one of them wasn't getting food because of it i'd definately separate them

It might be a good idea to quarantine the new one as a precaution. You don't want to introduce a disease to the other leo. Just a thought.

Regardless of where you got your geckos, it is a good idea to quarantine ANY newly aquired reptile for at least 30 days.
