Fat tail substrate

mblons May 25, 2004 12:39 PM

I have put my fat tails in substrate of sand and eco earth. As you enter the room, you can smell the eco earth. Nasty. Anyone have alternative to this. Is bed a beast same stuff?- Thanks- mark

i use unbleached paper towels and a tile from home depot. the tile will absorbs the heat from the lamp and serve as a belly heater. and the towels (being light brown) actually look quite nice.

I just use paper or paper towel. It’s cheap and very easy to clean. I also provide a moist hide with bed a beast.
