Does the temp of the incubation medium have to be the same as the air temp? The air temp in my incubator and inside the egg containers are 82-85 degrees, but the temp of the vermiculite is cooler. Is this something i should worry about? or will my eggs be fine the way they are? Thnx in advance to those who reply!

your eggs should be fine.. the moist vermiculite with automatically make it a bit cooler. how long have you had your eggs in the incubator?

oh yeah, like i said there may be a little difference but they should be fine. just make sure and try not to open up the top to the incubator for too lonng and let the warmth escape. but they sounds fine iand i doubt you will have any problems

It will feel cooler than the air (the perlite in my incubator does) but my eggs haven't died yet so I must be doing something right!!!
