This is a my 1 1/2 to 2 yr. old nile having lunch, yum yum. It is a little over 3ft. When I first got it it was some what mean, The people I got it from were not taking care of it right at all {not that everything I have done is right} But I do my best, an handle it everyday.. an since I got it it has never tried to bite me YET! an the tail wiping has just about stopped FOR NOW! an is very calm when I handle it. when I got it , it was about 1 ft an in a 10 gal fish tank they had 75 WATT heat lamp on it . luckily they didnt cook it. c-ya jim
