How many breeders?

About how many mice should I need to feed 11 snakes once a week?
Also, what is the best way to introduce new females to a colony?

I am not sure about numbers but the way I introduce new females is as just weaned hoppers or by raising some from a litter in the colony. The rest of the colony is less likely to kill a baby. But even then you need to watch. As far as the physical addition.....I wait til cleaning day. I tend to put all the mice into a tub while cleaning theirs. That day I put the new ones in first and then the colony. Then scrub the colonie's tub and put them all back....it is my "look what followed us home" version. It is also better for me if I add two or three and not just one. There does seem to be safety in numbers. BTW, never try this if there are newborn pinks or tiny fuzzys....I wait til there are hoppers and nobody about to pop. Less likely for a nervous mom to go crazy.
