REAL stupid question....

Ive never studied, owned, watched, or read about ratsnakes but have them all around my house. I was going to catch one and throw a mouse in to answer my own question, but have been unsucessful in finding one. So heres the dumb question: How do ratsnakes eat/kill their prey if not by constriction or venom?

They are constrictors.
