30" light phase female!!!!!!!!!!

alterna63 May 25, 2004 10:37 PM

Congratulations to Tom and Maureen Eisele who caught a 30 inch light phase female around Carruthers draw on 277 just 45 minutes ago close to 10:00 P.M. They are really excited as this is their second Alterna since they have been coming down from New York. I thought I would be the first to post this. I will let them handle the pictures, as I do not have one from them. I told ya'll you would get one!! Drink one for me Tom! See ya in June.

Hope to see you guys in june. If not, then I hope to see you again next year.

The snake is a light phase blairi with orange blotches from the radio tower area. Found her at 9:50pm crossing the road. temps 81 at the time with a 10-15mph wind. The moon was cloud covered with occassional lightning to the S.W.. It eventully rained about 5am. Saw Doug Soderberg out there with a sweet large light phase male caught about 3am. Each time I've caught an alterna one of the Soderbergs has found one the same night. I think I should coordinate with them on a regular basis! Sorry....no pics, it will have to wait til June when we get home unless someone out here photographs her and posts it. Good luck everyone...it's looking like a good year for all.
