Ceramic heater

jacsoncham May 25, 2004 10:44 PM

We just got a ceramic heater for our 6 year old frilled dragon. He is now sitting on his basking spot with his mouth partially open and a partial frill. Is this a good sign?

Temp in the cage is 94.5 degrees.

As long as he is able to get to a cooler area of the cage, he should be just fine.

Often frilleds, beardeds, and uros (the most common Ive seen do it) will do this. Generally I think they are just getting as HOT as they can bare, before moveing.
