Do you see much difference in this annulata from that Celaenops?

Well yes Brian, I do and thanks for asking. The white bands are much wider on Shanes Celaenops. You can't see the difference between the two??? I am sure if I put it under a magnifying glass, I could pick other differences. What's your point here? Are you suggesting the snakes integrade in the wild or one of these is an integrade of another???? Where is your "Annulata" from? I am sure somewhere out West. They look totally different than ones from the South. What other differences can we find?
Wayne
Hey Wayne, I can see the slight differences but i wonder why they would be considered so different. I'm unsure where mine came from originally. I got them from Brian @ BHB originally.
The reds seem very similar and the overall appearance is pretty close. I am just fishing for others thoughts.
thanks

Brian, sorry, I do not check the milksnake forum very often. I am usually on the Gray Banded King forum. To answer your question, if you got that snake from Brian Barcyk (however you spell his name), you have to remember you are purchasing that animal from the state of Michigan. That snake could have a lot of different influences from interbreeding or otherwise. I know exactly the locale of my Celaenops because I personally collected them. They also are most likely from different areas on the River Road, if that in fact that is where they are from. Sounds like a good little research project to me.

Oh thats a pretty snake. I am new to snakes so this might sound silly but from what I understand this type of New Mex milk is the nicest looking?
Thank you.
