Nice pic; no I'm not kissing your a$$, but nice pic. Whats in them?
Chad
I don't know what's in 'em, they haven't hatched yet,
, ha ha, J/K.
Hopefully some Pastels. She was bred with this guy. She had 5 eggs last year, 4 of which were Pastels.

This thing came out today as well. It was damn-near the size of a Ball egg!

Very nice pastel; thats how they should look IMO.
Chad
He was 800g by 7.5 months of age and sired 2 clutches before he hit a year. He's now 2 years old (almost) and is over 1700g. I hope some of the holdback baby females take after him this year!

How big was dad in the pic; 700-800 gramish? Does he still have good colors at 1700 grams? I know they usually dull a little/lot, but he was very good looking for his size.
Thanx,
Chad
the pic is of 1700 grams........
.......and fat boy.......
nice pastel.......
Graziani?..Bell.?........(same differences.)

"people suck......snakes are a pain???).......better?......
...........................LEARN!!!...KNOW!!!.......
I still think about 700-800 on him in the pic, but who cares, its sweet looking.
Are we gonna go snake hunting or what, I gots to get away from this computer.
Chad
The pic is from about 6 months ago. He still has the same colours as when he was hatched. I kept back a baby from him from last year and its already 800g and it looks the same. They are all Graziani line Pastels.
Cheers!
Pics from this breeding season, and a new pic of his yearling son:

I know someone asked to see more detailed pics of your substrate-less incubator/incubation setup.
Did you ever post pics?
Ben
there was some pics. Its a pretty basic setup. Box that can hold water, insulate that box, put some water in the box, heat the water, suspend a Rubbermaid (egg box) over the water, calibrate temperatures, add eggs, watch eggs hatch. Same method as in the Ball Python Manual from 10 years ago, only I don't use substrate. The eggs sit in 100% humidity and hatch on plastic grate.
Check out these weirdo eggs!
