Two things:

1. I'm amazed that both of you are still here and actively posting almost daily.....Great job!!

2. I hear rumors that Sue1 is around these days again. Is there anything to this??? Has she posted on here yet?

Well I guess I have one more question:

3. How was the Daytona show and how many of the regulars met up again?

In memory of Harry......

Well, I rarely post actually but I read the forum daily. It's hard to give up old habits even when time is short.

Sue is finally back online after a year of being away. She has not posted here but she has been active on the Daytona mailing list and she posted on IguanasOwnUs. It's great to have her back online. It's only May and she's already joking about having her suitcases packed! LOL

Well I guess I have one more question:

Daytona was incredible, as always. Everyone was there along with a couple of new faces, even one from Sweden!! Me, Steph, Sue and Dan, Joan and Jimmy, Des, Jen, Kathryn, Ronnie, Xta, Nancy, Deanie, Cheri and John, Nadine and Dave, Ken, etc. We've gotten quite sophisticated and carry radios and cell phones to stay in touch during the show and someone still designs a t-shirt for us every year. We've missed you the last couple of years and hope that you will consider coming this year. It would be wonderful to see you and Sue2 again!!
I was very saddened to hear about Harry. It was like losing a long-time mascot. He is missed.
To kind of keep this on topic...we've been extremely busy here. The rescue has become all-species, not just iguanas anymore. We do have 28 iguanas here along with Beardies, monitors, Water Dragons, Agamas, torts, etc. It's now a full time job supported by my REAL full time job! LOL But, I wouldn't have it any other way.
It's good to see you! Send me a private email or have Sue do it! I'd love to get back in touch on a regular basis.

Sue1!!!!

How are you? We sure do miss hearing from you. I was just asking Sue2 about a month ago if she'd heard from you lately.
Good to see you back online.
Who knows......we just might pull ourselves out of the house and head down to the show this year. We'll just have to see if we both can take the time off and find a pet-sitter too.

I'll tell Sue2 that you've posted here and get her to email you directly. She's over in Derby,UK visiting Hills at school for the next week. She's currently heading to the hospital with leg problems They're swelling up and she doesn't know why so I told her to get to the hospital asap. I also got Hills on the phone to promise me that she'd make sure Sue2 went tonight.
I'll keep you updated on what we find out.

Talk to you later,
HD

Jane,

I have a friend in OakLand County up in your neck of the woods and he's needing to find a good snake vet. Do you know of anyone around that area?

Let me know, thanks.

Im really sorry to hear that!I recently lost a dog with cancer too.She was having so much pain my vet didnt even asked my permission to kill her. When i knew she was already dead! The cancer spread all over her body and she couldnt even breath anymore! What a disease!Im sorry Harry had cancer but you did the right thing. My dog suffered a lot before my vet decided to kill her!
