Missing Front Toe

lvzwlvz Jun 17, 2003 10:07 PM

I'm now a Brand new owner of a MHD. I noticed that one of his front toes is just a little stub, anyone know if this will grow back or will it be a permanant loss? Also, do MHD's require UVB? and if so, is there any other way of providing it besides through a lamp? And what are some signs to be on the lookout for in sickness?

the missing toe isn't anything to worry about as long as it is healed and not just dry-rotting away. It isn't that uncommon for them to lose a toe in a screen or something.

As for the things to look for for healh and such I have a pretty thorough caresheet that you should look over. If you still have questions post them and one of us will help out. Of course you can post anytime you like This forum has been very slow and really needs some posts!

Here is the link to my short caresheet:
