Leopard Geckos are insectivores/carnivores. You should feed them mealworms and/or crickets as a staple diet, with waxworms and pinkies as the occasional treat.
You can give the mealworms & crickets vegetables (certain types, at least), and they'll eat them, then all the good stuff from the veggies will get passed on to the leos via the insects.

One of my students actually found an article about a leopard gecko who was given only fruits & veggies. The previous owner had the poor thing for 7 months, always giving it fruits & veggies.
Of course, the leo never ate anything that it was given - they don't eat that stuff. The owner went for 7 months before he decided that the gecko's not eating might be a bad thing. He took it to the pet store and demanded a refund because it wouldn't eat!!!
The person who wrote the article put in a photo of when she first got it (she named her Lucky). Lucky was as thin as a twig, from head to toe. I'm really surprised she lasted as long as she did without eating. Luckily, Lucky is still alive and healthy today.
I don't know where the article is - my computer has crashed since then!

While you shouldn't try to feed them fruits and veggies some leos will go for a bit of peach baby food....they might lick at it just for the sweetness... Its not something you want to offer all the time but you could try it... Worst that can happen is they won't touch it... None of mine will even look at the stuff... But I have heard of some who would.
