I thawed out a baby chicken with a baby mouse last night. I posted before that she took them apart. Not this time...she tried and tried to pull them apart but this mouse was on there. 3 tight cotton string knots and she took the mouse in folded. Lets see if this helps the switch to rodents.

nice job my lil girl is strange in feeding in a good way. she will only eat things with hair and it has to be dead before she will even bite it even a lil twich will scare her off. try just a rodent next time u might get lucky or u might have to use the same thing a couple more times before she will eat just rodents.

I bet i will have to try scented food first...im going to tie again in the next feeding and them i am going to try a scented rat.
