what kind of personality do blue tongues have? Are they shy,curious,hyper? I am really interested in getting one, Ive wanted one for a long time but havent really heard alot about them. I like thier size and they appear to be calm natured but not really sure. Are they more like beardies or geckos? Thanks ahead..C4

Im not sure if you can compare their personalities to any other animal.....mainly because they are a totally other animal, but: I love my bts. He is comical and friendly, and fairly easy to care for (by means of diurnal lizards). In fact, as i sit here typing, griffon is sleepin in my pocket! Maybe that will help your decision.

They are supposed to be very personable, especially the easterns. I have one Tiliqua gigas at the moment, and he has mixed personalities. When he havent eaten, he will be grumpy and rather active. After i feed him, he will calm down and relax on my hand. BTS are very curious. Mine would sniff at almost anything, and would lick my fingers if i put it in front of his mouth.
