Another Joker question?

Chameleon996 May 26, 2004 06:43 PM

He has been temporarily housed in a reptarium for the past week. I don't like reptariums, but I have one that I use while cleaning the more permanent homes of my various lizards. Anyway I guess Joker didn't like it very much either because he rubbed his mouth on the screen and now has a raw spot on his bottom jaw. Is there anything that I can put on it to help it heal and not get infected?

You can disinfect it, and clean it up with peroxide on a Q-tip, and apply a triple antibiotic ointment or Neosporin on it to help it heal up.

Neosporian is excellent, but I had one leporad gecko that was senative to it so used 100% aloe gel, that I applied by Q tip about every hour it seemed. That did the trick but it was exahusting.
