thefiradragon Jun 17, 2003 10:41 PM

i was at my local herp store and there was a boa that was a light grey silverish in color, with a really red tail. it was labled as a columbian boa, so i guess my queation is, is the columbian boa the true red tail or is this guy mislabled. also how big does the columbian boa get?

It is very unlikely the pet store would be selling a BCC. It is probably a BCI, but the price will tell for sure. How much do they want for it?

I just found a BCC in a pet store for $129. I purchased it and am not quite sure on what locality it is, Guyanan or Suriname, as I am not a BCC guy but I do know it is pur BCC. I am thinking it is a Suriname, but it is one that could go either way, I would have pics, but my camera is broke.

Sorry you can't really see how read his tait is. I am not exactly great at capturing his true colors yet. I plan on getting a few outside pics soon... so we'll see what happens.
