I have used the following technique for years with 100% success.

1) Put the leo in a warm water bath for a half hour
(I use a rubbermaid shoebox and make sure to put paper towel on the bottom since leo will slip and slide without it. Water level should be about shoulder high)

2) After the half hour, use q-tips to peel off any stuck shed.

Some pointers: I've had success with pinning the leo's toe down with the q-tip and letting the leo pull its foot back, thus peeling off the skin. I have also pressed the qtip on the stuck shed and rolled the qtip between my fingers to roll the skin off.

Anyway you do it, use qtips and a good pre-soak. And don't stop till its done.

thanks...........i got a problem tho.....i just brought her to the vets and she has infection in her mouth and eye so ill have a hard time gettin it off of her feet i think...she is on medicine to
