Yes, and it's quite a frightful sound coming from such a small critter!! She was getting ready to shed after a long period of time and it was apparently very uncomfortable. She did NOT want me bothering her.

But I did get a squeak once. The vet was checking the inside of his mouth for rot, and eep! it would have been cute if he wasn't so genuinely scared.
