search this forum. There are several threads on this subject. Not trying to be short or anything but that really would be the best thing to do. Good luck.

don't mean to be rude, but if you didn't want to go with lizards and toads then you shouldn't have gotten a w.c w.hognose.

if you only tried just a live pink you can try.

braining
scenting
lizard maker (I haven't used it, but it is supposed to work great)

putting snake and food item in a small container and leave for a few hours/overnight. You can use a live prey item seeing as it is only a mouse pink.

leaving the prey item in the cage with the snake over night.

what time of the day have you offered food? hognoses are more active during the morning and day time hours.

good luck. It's a real P.I.T.A when they decide they don't want to eat. if all else fails find out what they eat (specific toads or lizards) and start them on those, work your way up to scented, and then non scented then worry about getting him off of live food. Just an idea though.

My hog would not eat for over a month.
I saw someone else's post on T-Rex Lizard Maker.
I decided to try it. Couldn't find it around my area
so I called LLReptile in CA. They shipped it to me.
It was about $5 for 3ounces and just over $5 for the shipping.
Yes, around $11 for 3ounces was a bit much. But it really worked.
I put in a pinky and Porky (our hognose) wouldn't eat it.
Just ignored it. I used the eye dropper built into the bottle
cap and put 1 drop of Lizard Maker on the pinky.
Porky immediately turned around and took one sniff of the pinky and ate right away. Since then, I've spoken to a manager of a pet store near me and told him the results of T-Rex Lizard Maker. He is calling T-Rex and getting for his store.
I don't make product endorsements, but I had to tell you of my experience. I will of course wean Porky off of scented
Good luck and enjoy your hoggie.

Juvenile Hog Nosed Snakes usually will feed on CANNED CAT FOOD----that's right, CAT FOOD.....place small pieces (small balls of cat food on a flat plastic lid---place the snake next to it and watch what happens....it is very surprising but I have had great success using this mode of feeding....Good Luck, Earl H. Turner
I usually use fish flavored .....
