bran for crickets

hey guys..just notived on beutifulldragon.com it says brans no good for bearded dragons...im feeding my crickets bran as thats what guy in store suggested..is this ok????? as cricket eat bran beardy eat cricket..lol..i noticed you guys saying baby formula..do you mean milk or the food formula like you add water too..ie. cauliflower and cheese etc...as we call things diff here????thanks guys...

They mean the stuff like the baby cereal that you add milk to.

You can also use chicken food (Egg layer mash)

Agree, I use laying mash and just put it in an old coffee grinder to make it small enough for them. The stuffs like $8 for a 50lb bag at the local feed store, just get the stuff without the extra hormones added.

be careful when using mash that it stays dry and does not grow mold. some mold when eaten by crix can be deadly to your BDs

Good point Bennett, at my elevation it's so dry almost nothing molds, you can leave an orange on the counter and it will dry out before it molds (one rolled under my bug rack and didn't find it for a few months lol) but yes people with higher humidity levels would have to take this into consideration.
