i noticed my beardy that eats loads of greens is almost double size of two who eat crickets...my big guy probably eats 50% greens 50% crickets..others about 80% - 20%...so do you guys think greens make them grow quicker and bigger.or the ones that eat more crickets grow quicker...ive found this intresting and wonder what you experienced keepers think?????

they need protien to grow, plant or animal doesnt much matter but they need protien. Crix have been that source for some time now. There are prepared foods that have changed that. As a side note, Cheri has a BD, about 2 lbs, that eats greens and greens and greens.

The animal has potential to grow based upon husbandry and genetics. When a BD swims in the shallow end of the gene pool, food only goes so far.

Dont forget, BDs all grow at different rates. Your little one may surpass your other BD in time.
