When to switch From 6qt Sterilite to a 15 Sterilite?

zhenchok May 27, 2004 01:30 PM

I'm currently housing my seven hatchlings in 6 qrt Sterilites, I built two racks that each fit four 15 qt tubs. I was wondering when would be a god idea to put the snakes in there? All but one of the hatchlings are regular feeders. It seems that the 6qt tubs don't seem large enough for some of the pythons. I really like the new racks and would rather keep them in them.

Also if I currently feed mice, and would eventually like to feed F/T rats. Should I first convert to rats? or convert to F/T? Thanks, Dave.

They like tight spaces, but if they are eating good; you should be fine to move them into the larger containers. If they stop feeding after you move them, just put them back in the smaller ones again.

Good luck,
Chad
