question about care for lizards.

kyle1414 May 27, 2004 05:46 PM

I have 2 curly tailed lizards and I was wondering if i feed them okay. We use to give them crickets twice a week but now all the pet stores seem to be always sold out so we put freeze-dried mealworms in their cage. Is this an okay diet, at first they didn't ewat the meal worms but now they are but it is apparent that they would much rather have the crickets. I think we have baby crickets in our cage now too. Anything i need to do about that?

If possible, it's always nice to try and feed your lizards a variety of insects. Your best bet is to check out a few care sheets on the curly tail lizard.

You can look at www.wnyherp.org/care-sheets/Lizards/curly-tail-lizard.html for one care sheet. after that I'd suggest to search Google to see what other people say too.

Hope that helps and good luck!
