Hey

I have had many different color morphs of Leopard Geckos before from Patternless and Jungle to just the "wildphase" normal kind. I must say, even though the "Human created" color morphs are very unique and often beautiful, I really do prefer the wild color phases much more. I don't know why. And this is true with any species of herp, not just Leopard Geckos. Don't get me wrong, I love what breeders are doing for the hobby. In my opinion they keep the hobby interesting and full of life. But I feel whatever breeders come up with, be it a solid blue Leopard Gecko to a zebra striped one, I will always come back to the color morph nature intended.

I think that morphs are definitely "much prettier"....because desired colors are personal preference..and i like the cleanliness of the all white blizzard lizard morph....i don't think in any way is the wild type pattern ugly...just that i think some look nicer than others...

I agree, i also enjoy normal morphs for their natural beauty. You've gotta marvel at mother nature for creating such a pretty creature. I think they're more unique in pattern, because if everyone has an all orange gecko how would you tell them apart? Plus in the wild the orange ones will be screaming EAT ME

I have to disagree with you don't get me wrong I have alot of normal morphs but I prefer differnt morphs like albinos ,tangerines,carrotails,jungles,blizzards,and leustics and more they just look better than normals so you are trying to say you will prefer to get a normal over a carrotail or other morph I think if you had a group people and they had the choice of getting this carrotail or a normal all of them but you would get the carrotail.

i would pick a normal over a carrottail any day
morphs are nice,. but a normal leo is a true leo, and without a normal, none of the morphs we have today could've been made
normls are best and no one will ever change my opinion

I think we're all bias cuz we love the geckos we own.
I really doubt it matters what they look like since they all have adorable personalities, i mean isn't that what really counts when you're trying to fall in love?

I would have to say that my all-time favorite morph as far as demeanor goes, is the Patternless. They are such sweethearts and have very gentle natures. I love my Patternless.

Now, as far as which morph I think looks the best... I must say that I like the bright yellows and oranges, but WITH spots. I like Leopard Geckos with markings on them! It gives them character, beauty, and makes them unique above any other gecko! There is nothing more beautiful than a lovely rainbow!

. . . spots/pattern, etc are wonderful - and I am so glad that many people are bringing designer patterns back into tangerines and others. I think that line-bred patterned leos are the wave of the future. Their will always be interested in nice looking patterned leos.

BTW - your patternless rock. They are very sweetly colored - like lemon drops!!!

I was thinking about this the other day. I love the normals also, I have 2. They are just so colorful to me. The other ones are nice, but it's not nature. And I hate yellow and orange.. I'm sorry, but I don't like carrottails at all. I think it's such an ugly coloration.
