I told him i wanted an eastern kingsnake and he says yea florida and eastern are the same.....I want an Eastern Kingsnake, What is the proper name i should tell this guy?? Always remember the world is full of idiots. The real problem comes when the idiots try to instruct others, as has apparently happened in your situation. I would buy an eastern from one of the people on this forum. Somewhere below a post names a few reputable people that seel easterns. Lynn Krysko and John Cherry have sites on the dealer page (appears when you first log on to kingsnake.com), are reputable, and sell easterns. Also, I bet old Hillson (posts regularly on this forum)will have have some easterns this year, maybe you could talk him into selling you one. He has some beauties.

...the GA easterns I got from him last year are absolutely gorgeous animals, and this sub-adult of his I acquired from someone else is also a beauty.

As a side note, Boca Reptiles is selling what looks to be a fairly nice pair of eastern chain kings in the classifieds. I've never dealt with them so don't know if they're reputable or not, just figued I'd mention it as I know Sasheena was looking for eastern chains, don't know if you might be interested in them aswell.
Cheers!

The only time I've ever bought an "Eastern Chain King", was from a petstore. Imagine my surprise when I found out I had a beautiful example of a Splendida or desert king. (I really suspected, but hubby liked it, so we bought it regardless)

im lookin for a juvinile....I dont want a babie and i dont want an adult....any of these people you guys listed sell them as juvis??

Yes A LOT of people on here sell their offspring. The easterns are due to hatch out as early as late june and most will be out early july. If you wait a bit you will have a plethora of breeders to pick from.

Oh and never buy from a pet store unless you just want to save an animal from them. Otherwise wait and buy breeder direct. You have the right place here. Just wait a few weeks and watch this place light up with breeders posting there pics of neonate eastern kings.

Their e-mails are usually attached to their websites. This is true for Krysko and Cherry, and I believe Hillson has a contact on his website too. I'm not sure about the others, but it shouldn't be hard to get the info you need from those with the answers.
