Is your humidity low? Go buy a cheap mister bottle and spray his environment liberally several times a day. Their lung membranes absorb moisture out of humid air so this could help to hydrate him. You could also try injecting his food with 1/4 cup of Pedialyte or so, depending on his size. Is he a juvie or an adult or somewhere in between? Then again,.. if a snake's meals are real small they sometimes won't deficate for a longer time. Are your meals adequately sized? If you give him a large meal (1.5 times his widest girth is a good rule of thumb) once a week or so, then he probably will also deficate once a week or so.

the humidity is around 60%
i also soak him in water every 2 days for about 30min-45min or untill he climbs outta the water

he is around 4 1/2 feet long

and i feed him a small rat every 8 days

the rats are smaller than his biggest girth
so could that be the reason?

60% is good, but 70 to 80 would be better. At 4 1/2 feet he can be on large rats, easy. That probably is the reason. Meals too small.
