Chucks are notorious for being slow shedders! Bits and pieces come off at a time. DO NOT attempt to help the process along by pealing it or you will damage the skin underneath. You can soak them in warm water. This is very good for the toes when you have incomplete shedding there. My oldest female is shedding right now. It may take several weeks fo her to complete it. I think of it as natures way of protecting them. Only a small amount of skin is soft at any time. This prevents them from losing to much moisture through the skin in the desert if they had a rapid complete shed like an anole or other types of lizards. By the time that area has hardened up then another area is ready to shed.
