Need some advice about shedding

It's Thanatos' second shed and I'm giving him a 20 minute soak. He was panicking like a scared little guy until I covered the bucket with a rag with holes slashed in it... any other ideas to calm him down for this? I dont really want to be bitten.

Well he shed a full skin And almost took a chunk out of my finger when I took the skin out(he's reaaaaaal cranky right now )
