Where did you get those guys from. They are really pretty animals. We have been producing them for years, but never considered them snow bulls. We have always called them a white sided hypo. They are out of trubowers line of bulls and were a side deal of his quest for a snow. In the pic attached you will see one behind the hypo which was a litter mate.

I'm pretty sure they aren't snow bulls, but they are het for albino. I bought them from Kemper Ruth, and he bought them from Isis Reptiles. To my knowledge, isn't "Ghost" technically a hypo whitesided?

Names really suck when it comes to these animals, I have seen them advertised as ivory bulls, hypo white sided and several other names. In any case they are awesome animals. Don't be surprized when you get a clutch and you get albino, albino white sided, a bright orange hypo, axthanic whitesided, speckled and a true snow which is an albino animal with red eyes solid sides and very reduced pattern on the top. They are beautiful. The snake in the pic was a hatchling in this pic and as it matured the pattern faded as it aged, till it was about 4 years old and had no visible pattern unless you took it out in the direct sunlight. I lost it in the accident last year and she was one of my favorite bulls we had. Dayrl Camby had one I gave him also that he lost in his ordeal last week I believe.
Good luck with them, they are neat snakes.

You have a point there about the names. So difficult to keep track of!
So I could possibly get all that out of two hypo whitesideds het. for albino? Pretty crazy. I wish I knew just how the genetics worked on that one.
What is the difference between Axanthic Whitesided, whitesided, and albino whitesided?
You do realize I'm going to be daydreaming for the next 4 years....

The way we see it is as follows:
Ax. White sided- a snake that hs slid white sides with a normal pattern above that is devoid of reds, yellows and oranges. Basically black and white.
White sided - solid white sides with normal pattern above in various normal color combinations. There are two original lines with the trumbower line having stark white sides and the bell line having some muddling in the white.
Albino White sided - solid white sides, normal albino patten above and red eyes.
Salt and Pepper - white base color withblack peppering over the entire snake
And yes if your animals are trumbower lines as they look like, the combinations are awesome. Below please see a partial clutch out of two of his original line animal. Notice the variations, almost like christmas when they hatch. You never know what will come out.

I can see more daydreams on the way...
I have two whitesided bulls right now-from their patterning, its looking like I have one Bell and one Trumbower. Are they pretty much compatible, just look different?

When bred together pure trumbower and pure bell's will produce white sided and possible het for all the other things we mentioned. It can get pretty confusing which is why it took Craig 9 years to produce snows the first time, but a punndit square may help you work it all out.
Good Luck with them.

Pretty snake. Don't know why I'm drawn to the bulls with the red coloration. I guess that's why there all the different morphs. Something for everyone.

Very Nice . Those are my favorite White Sided Bull morph.
