...store bought Spanish moss as bedding or in egg boxes? Just wondering, seems like it would do the job if combined with some vermiculite. I've used it as decorative substrate in a few display tanks before, the snakes seemed to like it.
Also, one of my cal kings has begun laying. At 7 days post pre-lay shed she dropped one obvious slug and what appears to be from the outside a viable egg in her laying box earlier today. She still looks like she's got some eggs in her and she refused food, so I'm not convinced she's yet done by any means. Also not 100% sure on that one 'good' egg, I can't see any veins yet it's firm and looks perfect...guess I'll have to wait and see.
