Schneider Problems (please help!)

Deke Jun 18, 2003 04:19 AM

If anyone out there has a trio of these, that was originally a pair, please let me know how you introduced them. My old female decided to take a bite out of the new female's tail. Any help appreciated

These skinks seem to be very territorial. It is very hard to get a pair to live together let alone a trio. About the only thing I can think of is to give them enough room so they don't feel crowded. In other words you need a huge cage. And you'll have to watch them very closely. I think it's best to work with these animals in pairs. IMHO
