Cat gecko care?????????????

geckoman_nl May 28, 2004 10:23 AM

Hi Guys,
Does anyone keep these?
What do you house them in? plastic, wooden or glass enclosures?
What size approx?
What temps do they need?

These guys need high humidity, but some venilation is important. I've had the best luck with plastic.
Temps must be kept very cool, room temperature is fine.
When keeping them think high altitude chameleons and Uroplatus geckos, and you'll be ok.

Thaks for the reply...
You keep them in plastic enclosures?
How often do they need spraying?

I'd put enough venilation in the enclosure where you can spray it down once a day and the cage doesn't get mildew.
I just used a large clear rubbermaid tub and drilled a bunch of holes in it.
