Anyone ever see this with rats..

Everytime i place food in the food bowl my females takes it all out one at a time and hides it in a corner under the substrate.

This happens every feeding. Maybe i need a feeder of some sort but its hard to use 1/2" hardware cloth in an aquarium. Just thought i'd see if this meant anything or was just normal behavior.

It is pretty much normal PITA rat behavior. A feeder would cut down on it. But some girls just feel the need to store up food. I tend to cut back on their food til they eat out their supply. Otherwise you will just waste it.

You weren't wrong to do it....but she is cheating. I personally would cut back on the food til she decides she is gonna eat it and not 'save' it. I wouldn't leave it more than a couple days.
