What can i use so my female can lay her eggs???

Hi all.I know i can use sterile potting soil for my female green anole to lay her eggs in but is there any other substrate that can be used???Thanks all.Gilbery007

anoles are so hard to get them to lay their eggs where you want them.. my knight anoles drive me crazy! Try some moist builders sand or put a busy plant in there .. that would be your best bet with some leaves ontop of the soil. They will naturally go for the plant. Hope that helps...wish it worked for mine
