i have a 3 month old veiled chameleon and he is looking very ashy does anyone have any ideas on why he looks this why!!

he is probably ready to shed. As their old skin loosens it can give a chalky sort of appearance. Make sure he is well hydrated to insure a thorough shed. You can up your warm water misting to help
